Third SPPA seminar day held in Stirling

24 April 2005

The third SPPA seminar day was held at the University of Stirling on Saturday, 16 April. Attendance was good, with an audience of 25-30 people. A big thank you to the Stirling Philosophy Department and the Scots Philosophical Club for their support, and to Daniel Bird for organizing the event. Thanks also to the speakers and responders, and of course to everyone who attended and made the day a success.

The seminar day also marks the stepping down of Paul Renton as secretary of the SPPA. Paul has put in an enormous amount of work getting the SPPA back on its feet after a very quiet period, so he leaves with many, many thanks from the remaining committee, and, we are sure, from all our members.

Hannah Wildman now takes over officially as secretary of the SPPA. You can find details of the entire SPPA committee on our contact page.

At the post-conference meal.
